OCWS Committee Assignments for 2007 - 2008
The OCWS is run by an all-volunteer group, with the exception of our Office Administrator. Accordingly, most all of the activities we undertake are organized and run by committee. Per the Bylaws, each committee is assigned to a responsible director and this business year’s assignments are shown in the adjacent panel. Committees for each activity can vary in size. Some could be as small as two or three volunteers while others could be as large as 10 or more. As you can see from the assignment list, the opportunities to volunteer in support of the OCWS are many. Contact information for all Directors is on the Board Assignments listing. If you want to join a Committee or would just like to learn more about what a particular committee does, give the responsible director a call. If Committee work might not be your thing, most OCWS activities have volunteer needs beyond committee requirements. When you sign up to attend an event, please think about volunteering. Whether you are new to the OCWS or a veteran member, an opportunity to participate is waiting for you. Your willingness to lend a hand will help the OCWS continue to prosper as an all-volunteer organization.
